Services Overview
Setting Out
Gravica offer a full setting out and surveying service for contractors on all project types. All our staff are fully qualified setting out engineers and technicians and we can offer this service on an hourly basis to help you minimise costs.
Project Management
Management of a project can be a stressful task. Gravica can help by taking on this service to provide an independent manager to oversee your project. We will assign a dedicated person to manage the project who will be on site as often as is required. This service can be offered on a fixed cost or percentage basis.
Bending Schedules
Bending schedules are a key component of any reinforced concrete. Gravica has an enormous amount of experience in the production of these and we can often provide this service on a next day and sometimes even same day basis. For rapid service please email your drawings to Rebar Rapid Service.
Clerk of Works
The staff at Gravica come from an Engineering background. This means we have an acute understanding of civil and structural elements and building techniques. As a clerk of works we can review site conditions and quality of work faster than the average CoW and this helps keep the project running smoothly. Our aim is to see that your project is completed on time, on budget, and to a specific quality – we will never raise issues ‘for the sake of it’ your dedicated CoW will be on site as often as is required. We offer this service on a fixed cost, cost per visit basis or as a percentage of overall project costs.
Resident Engineer
For large complicated projects it can often help, or be a requirement, that the site has a resident engineer. Gravica will assign a dedicated RE to your site to assist you in the critical decisions that will affect your project, he will be on site as often as is required. We offer this service on a fixed cost, cost per visit basis or as a percentage of overall project costs.
Variation Analyst
Variations can be present on all projects but some seem to, for whatever reason, attract a large amount. We can offer a service to contractors to help identify these variations and assist with the reclamation of them. We can also offer this service to clients to help minimise the cost of variations or identify areas where savings should be offered. This service is usually offered as a percentage of the variation value.
Meeting Coordination
Site meetings need coordination – if you are running a large project it can often help to have a dedicated meeting coordinator to help manage the times and locations of meetings, deal with invitations and record comments and decisions made in the meetings through minutes or audio and video recordings. We can also help set up video conferencing to have impromptu or long distance meetings.
